The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and microbiology provides diagnostic consultation and conducts research and educational programs related to diseases of the oral and maxillofacial pathology. Undergraduate teaching programme includes subjects like Oral Anatomy, Oral Histology, Oral Biology, Oral physiology & Orofacial Embryology in first year of BDS curriculum. Oral and maxillofacial pathology and microbiology teaching takes place in the second & third years.
